Accommodation Terms

[Temporary-Use Building Agreement for Private Lodging Facilities]

HIWIN Corporation (the "Operator") and the guest (the "Guest") conclude this temporary-use building agreement (this "Agreement") for the leased property (the "Facility") pursuant to Article 40 of the Act on Land and Building Leases, under the following terms.

・This Agreement ends upon expiration of the term and is not renewed; however, this does not apply when the Facility is used again through a booking made on a site listing the Facility.

・The minimum stay under this Agreement is 2 days/1 night (3 days/2 nights for special-zone private lodging facilities); cancellation below this minimum is not possible.

・If this Agreement is terminated before 2 days (3 days for special-zone facilities), no refund of accommodation fees will be made.

・The term of the Agreement is the period specified in the booking confirmed by the guest through the booking site.

The Guest shall use the Facility solely for temporary lodging and for no other purpose.

Guests staying at the Facility must be able to communicate in Japanese, English, or Chinese.

The Guest is obliged to present photo identification such as a passport, driver's license, or residence card when using the Facility.

Guests must observe the following when using the Facility:

・How to use the equipment provided in the Facility

・How to dispose of waste

・Not disturbing neighbors with noise or otherwise

・Emergency contacts and initial response procedures in the event of fire or other emergencies

・Room hygiene; staff may enter the room with the guest's prior consent when necessary for management

Details are set out in the attached House Rules, which the Guest shall confirm upon the Operator's explanation.

The Guest shall bear the cost of restoring any significant damage caused while using the Facility or its equipment.

As this Agreement is solely for temporary lodging, the Guest confirms that the Act on Land and Building Leases does not apply, and that this Agreement does not apply to rooms licensed under the Hotel Business Act.
